Cancellation and modification policies



Our policy aims to balance flexibility for our guests with the predictability required for the excellence of our service. By confirming your reservation with Star Host (NIF 517753227), located at Loteamento Bacelos, Carrapateira, 8670-230 Bordeira, you agree to the following terms:
1. Cancellation and Modification Deadlines (Flexible Rates)
For flexible rates, both free cancellation (with a full refund of the stay) and date modifications must respect the following notice periods:
• Standard Flexible Rate: Free cancellation or modification up to 5 days before the scheduled check-in date.
• Weekly Flexible Rate: Free cancellation or modification up to 14 days before the scheduled check-in date.
• Monthly Flexible Rate: Free cancellation or modification up to 28 days before the scheduled check-in date.
Note: Outside of these periods, no refund of the stay will be issued, and date modifications will not be accepted.
2. Non-Refundable Rates
Non-refundable rates benefit from specific commercial conditions, implying the loss of the total stay value in case of cancellation. However, date modifications are permitted (subject to availability and price adjustments) provided the request respects the following notice periods:
• Non-Refundable Standard: Modification permitted up to 5 days before check-in.
• Non-Refundable Weekly: Modification permitted up to 14 days before check-in.
• Non-Refundable Monthly: Modification permitted up to 28 days before check-in.
3. Cleaning Fee Refund
• Refund Guarantee: Under any cancellation circumstance (including Non-Refundable Rates or cancellations made outside the notice period), the Cleaning Fee will always be fully refunded, provided the guest has not used the property (check-in has not occurred).
4. General Modification Conditions
• Any date modification is subject to property availability and price adjustments if the new selected dates carry a higher rate.
• Requests for modification or cancellation must be submitted in writing through our official channels.

Refund Processing
All applicable refunds will be processed within 5 to 10 business days and must be issued via the same payment method used for the original booking.
